On Friday the family of Ramona Childress said they are proud of the justice system for its handling of the man who killed her and buried her body north of Spokane.
That man, Jason Flett, will spend the next 45 years in prison. In November of 2013, a body was discovered on a piece of property near Elk, in north Spokane County. The coroner later confirmed the body as that of Ramona Childress.
