USA Shipping Update
It has been a bit of a wild week getting the research and work done to enable shipping to the USA, and we couldn’t be happier to have things running again. However, there are a few changes and some information that is important to know. The following information is applicable to US orders only:
Due to the strict new regulations at customs, extra items (such as stickers, promo materials) will not be included in orders. Extra items could cause customs regulation issues, and our goal is to ensure things get through as quickly as possible.
Orders will most likely take longer to arrive due to delays in customs processing. Please have patience as we have no control over how long it will take for a package to process.
Customers from the USA will not face tariffs on their packages, as it is required for any duties to now be paid at the time the postage is purchased. This does however mean that we will be facing additional costs in running Cult Collectibles.
We will be shipping via Canada Post partnered with USPS, as opposed to our usual provider. This should not affect orders in any way as a client, but will lead to additional costs on our end.
Some adjustments may be made to our inventory. For example, smaller items may be put into bundles to make order processing smoother. The time to pack and ship an order has become a significantly longer process given the new paperwork required for customs.
Please note that we do not know how these new regulations will exactly affect our operations. We are opening shipping up as a trial phase. If we make any adjustments or pauses during this process we will make a post with any additional information.
